Zachary-Marcus, "Marc", Border Collie
Shortly before my Father's death in 2002, they asked me to adopt a Border Collie. I drove to "Rawhide Rescue" in
Northern NJ and found "Zach", a 7 year-old with two years of obedience training and a wonderful, zestful attitude
toward life. Mother renamed him "Marc" and he was her faithful companion, compleating some Service Dog training
to better help her in her with daily chores. When she went into assisted living, Marc was welcomed into Our Warren. He adores
herding cats, guarding bunnies and collecting the mail, while searching for additional jobs with true collie enthusiasm!

Marc and Cokie-the-Maine-Coon-Cat
This is Marc and Cokie-the-Maine-Coon-Cat. They are united in Adversity - both must visit the Spa for periodic shampoos and
trims. Marc is enthusiastic about his visits. He gets lots of admiration for his beautiful Blue Merle colouring, ice-blue
eyes and sweet disposition. Cokie is not in favour of the process. He is a HUGE (over 30 lbs.) disgruntled, foofy Maine-Coon
cat who came up short in the genetic lottery - and hence wound up in rescue. His overwhelming fondness for chicken-fingers
landed him in Our Warren - and the rest, is History!

The Evil Litter Box
Brian, the Mechanical Engineer, can't resist gadgets so when someone invented an automatic self-scooping litter box he had
to buy one for Cokie and KayCee. The machine has a timer set to run ten minutes after its occupant has left - so when the
motor whines to life, cats run from all corners to watch the "action"!

Babby George, the Easter Dump Bunny
This is "Babby" George. He was abandoned in a bare cardboard box at a veterinarian's office three months after Easter
- another victim of "The Easter Dump". Poor George! Bought when he was a cute, fuzzy infant, and then abandoned
when the "family" tired of their new "toy"! Barely out of infancy, he sidled up to Belinda, hoping to
be accepted. She sniffed him all over and chinned him, thus confirming that he could stay within the protection of Our Warren.
When she passed on to the Rainbow Bridge, he was barely a teenager, but he bonded himself to MissyBun and gamely took over
the authorship of "The Hay Diaries", where he continues to chronical life from the HouseRabbit perspective, "Wun
Foot Offa Ground".

Left for the Rainbow Bridge 7 February 2004
A Prayer for SnoBall ExFoster
SnoBall, pretty SnoBall,
They have taken you away,
No more will you run and jump;
No more will you play.
The Black Rabbit, he has claimed you;
Led you far along the ridge,
And shown to you the wonders
Once you cross the Rainbow Bridge.
And all the other Bunnies
Who passed this way before
Are waiting there to greet you,
To take you by the paw.
Your time on earth is over,
There is nothing left but fun;
Happy Bunnies all together,
Bunnies playing, in the sun.
